Employment Litigation

Steve DeWolf’s employment practice has been split almost evenly between defense work and representing employees.

On the defense side, he has represented various employers in matters ranging from sexual harassment and discrimination to covenant not to compete disputes. Thanks to this extensive experience, DeWolf Law can provide presentations to management about how to minimize future litigation. Our team is also prepared to conduct investigations for management into employees’ alleged misconduct.

On the plaintiff’s side, Steve has represented high-level managers who are either in peril of being terminated or who have already been terminated. Usually he has been able to negotiate a generous severance package.

One practice focus has been representing city employees, including police chiefs and managers in disputes with municipalities. In addition, from time to time, Steve has been called on to represent stockbrokers or others in disputes with their former employer.
